Shrnutí: | This dissertation seeks to analyze the conflicts and contradictions in relation to the advances of agribusiness on family farming, highlighting the impacts suffered by traditional peoples, peasants and quilombola communities in the state of Rondônia. The study discusses the conflicting territorial relations between agribusiness and these communities, as well as the processes of deterritorialization. This is a bibliographic and documentary research, with a qualitative approach, centered on the analysis of journalistic sources published by the press and its digital media, online, both local and national, such as Rondônia Agora, Rondônia ao Vivo, Diário da Amazônia, Brasil de Fato, G1, among others, in the time frame from 2018 to 2024. The results indicate that the re-territorialization process of Rondônia, throughout the different migratory and socioeconomic cycles, transformed agriculture: the practice of subsistence and survival of native peoples became part of a large production of goods aimed at profit. Furthermore, the advancement of agricultural frontiers has made agribusiness a fundamental element for the growth and development of Rondônia's economy. However, against this scenario, socio-agrarian contradictions emerged, resulting in major clashes and conflicts between small producers, squatters, indigenous people, quilombolas and large landowners and agribusiness producers. These contradictions have generated social inequality, rural exodus, disputes over land, cheap labor, among other situations resulting from conflictual relationships. |
