Izvleček: | In the contemporary scenario, Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs), popularly known as drones, have stood out not only as entertainment instruments, but as multifunctional tools capable of redefining the interaction between technology and society. Within the scope of this Course Completion Work (TCC) project, it is proposed to assemble a do-it-yourself (DIY) drone, literally translated as do it yourself, elevating the construction experience to the exploration of an innovative system of integration. The centerpiece of this proposal lies in the development of a GPS-based follow me system, designed to track a predefined moving object. This technological advance aims not only to improve the autonomy of UAVs, but also to open doors to a series of practical applications in different scenarios. The use of the global positioning system (GPS) as a fundamental tool for tracking moving objects represents a bridge between DIY technology and the cutting-edge of autonomous systems. The main objective is to explore the capabilities of these drones, not just as aerial toys, but as autonomous agents capable of performing specific functions. The potential of this project is vast, covering areas such as entertainment, monitoring and surveillance. The drone's ability to follow the target object not only enhances the user experience, but also promotes countless possibilities for practical application. From innovative aerial broadcasts of sporting events to strategic surveillance operations, a drone with GPS tracking capabilities represents a significant advancement in the convergence of electronics, automation and control. |
