總結: | The Technical-Professional Internship Report (RETP) is a period in which the student has the opportunity to apply in practice all the knowledge acquired during graduation in Veterinary Medicine, in the area intended for professional practice. The RETP was carried out at JBS AVES LTDA, recognized as a leader in the food industry. During the internship, guidance was obtained from Veterinary Doctor Natália Leal Nunes and academic guidance was provided by Prof. Dr. Luciana Ruschel dos Santos and the same took place from July 10, 2023 to September 29, 2023, with a total workload of 420 hours. Through RETP, it was possible to monitor the activities carried out in the company's routine, as well as experience the routine of the entire poultry meat production cold chain. This work discusses the description of the internship location, the description of the activities carried out, ending with a case report on the impacts of skin lesions in a broiler slaughterhouse (dermatitis, dermatosis and cellulitis), which directly influences the quality end of the product and the animal's well-being during the process. In view of this, the supervised professional technical internship was of utmost importance for training and growth, both professional and personal, as through it it was possible to acquire essential experiences that served as a basis for improving all the theoretical knowledge obtained during graduation. |
