Zusammenfassung: | The job market is increasingly competitive and requires good preparation, capabilities that can be learned and improved over time, including time at university. The Professional Technical Internship (ETP) is a chance to apply and improve the theoretical knowledge acquired during medical graduation Veterinarian in the desired area of professional activity. Under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Fernando Pilotto and supervised by veterinarian Thaise Bendo in the breeding of headquarters of the Passo Fundo unit, the ETP was carried out at the Nova Bassano - RS branch of company JBS AVES LTDA., belonging to the Passo Fundo - RS unit, totaling 450 hours, from July 10 to October 13, 2023. The internship was crucial to the growth personal and professional, allowing you to experience experiences within the company, get to know the routine of the extension worker in the field and the needs of the producer, monitor the daily management activities of breeding farms – cleaning and disinfection of poultry houses, feeding, selection of birds, vaccination, collection of material for laboratory analysis, monitor biosecurity and management training for farm employees. O purpose of professional practice aimed at completing the degree and the concrete execution of the lessons acquired throughout the study period. All activities developed were centered on the rearing of broiler breeders, from the beginning in housing until the production of fertile eggs. Furthermore, he was monitored during the ETP a case of arthritis, in a rearing batch of broiler breeders, aged 8 weeks of life, where birds with clinical signs were found, having said that the same will be reported and discussed. Furthermore, the importance of all care during the carrying out the work, both in terms of care for the animals and in terms of health issues. These experiences contributed significantly to personal growth and professional, enriching knowledge in the poultry sector. As a result, the extension Rural farming becomes essential for the success of the poultry industry and for the future of the poultry farming profession veterinarian. |
