Sumari: | The Professional Technical Internship (ETP) covered the period from August 7th to October 27th, 2023, totaling 480 hours. The ETP was carried out in the pig farming area at the company Daros & Lodi Suinocultura, located in the interior of the city of Camargo - LOL. The choice of the internship location was motivated by the interest in learning about the pig production system and pig farming in general. Developing activity in the nursery and finishing phases, focusing mainly on batch standardization. This report describes the activities carried out during the internship period, which took place under the academic guidance of Prof. Dr. Rafael Frandoloso, professor of the Veterinary Medicine course at the University of Passo Fundo, and practical supervision of Veterinarians Francine Daros and Allef Pereto and zootechnicians Rodrigo Filippi and Adriano Weber. During this period, monitoring of daycare routines, vaccination, nutrition, health monitoring, technical visits in the finishing phases using the checklist, necropsies and meetings for improvements were carried out. |
