Summary: | The main objective of this article is to examine how legislation and jurisprudence address the situation in which a child or adolescent is kept in a foster family, as well as to analyze the legal criteria for the suspension and removal of family power. Understand the legal and social implications of these interventions, discussing improvements in the adoption processes, considering the best interests of the child and adolescent, in accordance with the adoption procedure set out in Law 8,069/90, due to the importance of protecting the property -being with your children, even if it means abandoning your biological family. Given the importance. of a safe and favorable environment for the development of children and adolescents, which is often found in foster families. |
