Baseado principalmente em autores dos campos da musicologia (Cook, 2001, Trotta, 2008) e estudos culturais (Canclini, 2008, Martin-Barbero, 1997, Grimson, 2011, Hall, 2006), levando em conta as transformações presentes no desenvolvimento do gênero e sua relação com o meio cultural, através das construções e desconstruções culturais e suas relativas dinâmicas estéticas, as quais são expressas nos exemplos musicais propostos. Sobre a milonga, é analisado o seu surgimento e sua inevitável transformação dentro da música popular, a partir da sua genealogia e sua relação com o espaço geográfico-cultural, bem como sua transformação em termos dos seus materiais musicais intrínsecos. Dessa forma, contextualiza-se o intercâmbio de sonoridades que fica inerente a esse processo e que transforma a milonga em um agente de significação estético-cultural dentro da obra dos compositores estudados. Com especial atenção ao território gaúcho e brasileiro, busco observar o desenvolvimento da cultura criada no Rio Grande do Sul e sua relação crítica e estética com o trabalho de Ramil, através principalmente da sua obra A Estética do Frio. Utilizo-me também de Drexler, uruguaio, para triangular esse processo e procurar a reverberação da mesma ideia cultural e musical em outro lado da fronteira, através do conceito de Templadismo, buscando exceder o limite geográfico e assim entender as relações de tempo e espaço que os autores descrevem em sua obra. Para tanto, além da aproximação conceitual, analiso algumas canções, apoiado em publicações já existentes sobre a obra musical dos compositores e transcrições próprias, utilizando-as como objeto de materialização dos conceitos apresentados.Fundação de Apoio à Pesquisa do Distrito Federal (FAPDF).This research seeks to analyze the milonga and its dynamic characteristics on the southern border of Brazil, exemplified by the works of two composers, Vitor Ramil and Jorge Drexler. In this way, the exchange of sounds that is inherent to this process and which transforms the milonga into an agent of aesthetic-cultural significance within the work of the composers studied is contextualized. With special attention to the Gaucho and Brazilian territory, I seek to observe the development of the culture created in Rio Grande do Sul and its critical and aesthetic relationship with Ramil's work, mainly through his work A Estética do Frio. I also use Drexler, a Uruguayan, to triangulate this process and look for the reverberation of the same cultural and musical idea on the other side of the border, through the concept of Templadismo, seeking to exceed the geographical limit and thus understand the relationships of time and space that the authors describe in their work.
