Riassunto: | The aim of the study was to make a diagnosis of the situation of rural women in settlement projects in the region of Goiás, in order to support public policies for inclusion of women, and the development of methodologies and capabilities with ATER format and language appropriate for rural women the goal of making the social inclusion of this portion of the population in income generation. To perform a qualitative and quantitative study, questionnaires with open and closed questions, where discourse analysis of social actors, through the technique of content analysis is employed and quite accurate especially when it comes to collecting indicators were applied assessment relevant to construction of measurement instruments of different social phenomena that involve both technologies such as conservation practices. Socioeconomic outcomes for the three settlements showed poor school performance is due to poor infrastructure in rural schools, school transport and road quality. Access to credit is restricted by environmental irregularities. Most beneficiaries do not fit the profile of family farmer. These show greater aptitude for farming and disability in the control and management of the property. Women, in majority, are over 40 years of age. There is a significant population aging caused by discontinuity of beliefs between generations. Women have difficulty with decision-making power and has preference to activities related to the home, cooking, sewing, and raising small animals, because of machismo beliefs and submissive and subordinate behaviors. Recognize the importance of continued service to the success of farming and associative and cooperative ways to strengthen the community. Working methodologies and focused on social development policies must cover behavioral and cognitive changes in all members of the community. There are more effective at work than strictly behavioral changes in training of manpower. |
