Resumo: | To strengthen small producers is to establish a bond between them. Thus, organizations like cooperative alternatives are encountered by small producers to gain access to rural credit, machinery, animals and improved seeds to modernize. The municipality of Silvânia, in the 1980s participated in a program developed by four research institutions whose goal was to promote the organization of producers. From this experience Silvânia producers managed to strengthen and become more competitive in the market. The research aims to study the mechanisms used today to maintain the organization of producers in the city after the departure of state intervention. Thus, it was possible to observe the investment management of the cooperative in technical assistance, training courses and trainings. However, the presence of power relations among members was observed, that there are individuals with greater accumulation of capital, and therefore are in a superior position in relation to other members. And also the presence of the same individuals in the administration of Coopersil. |
