Riassunto: | The aim of this study is to provide a account of the occupation of the Brazilian-Peruvian border, keeping track of the life and activities of rubber tappers and family farmers in different locations of the Alto Juruá Extractive Reserve and highlighting the processes of space occupation and creation of social networks. The occupation of these territories, initially violent and ruthless, is narrated here by recounting the histories and memories of its inhabitants combined with the observation and reconstruction of events. |
