Summary: | This article aims to raise reflections on collective consciousness in times of pandemic, based on Rousseau (1973), Mauss (2003), Park (1967) and Hannerz (2005). We analyzed the new city configurations and people's reaction to decisions to resume mobility, after more intense periods of seclusion at home. Through bibliographic research that brings concepts that dialogue with the present moment and a semi-structured questionnaire, young students report their experiences. We realize that there is a different perception of the self as contextualized people at this moment in human history. There is what we could call a collective conscience, which surpasses past individualism towards a social commitment with a more balanced life with all the other beings that inhabit the planet earth, and that make all citizens more and more full because they present themselves committed to the service of the common good. |
