Sumari: | This work presents the design, development and tests of an advanced software tool, using the paradigm of object orientation. The tool is intended for advanced implementation of dynamic studies in electric power systems. The proposed strategy is based on design patterns, using sound software engineering concepts. Firstly, a mapping between time-frequency (block diagram) to an object oriented domain is performed. This analysis allows a more flexible system description and speeds up the overall software development process. In order, to exploit the object oriented approach, a mix of design pattern strategies as Factory Method, Strategy, Builder and Facade was used on a complementary basis, to cope with the complexity observed in electric power systems, allowing software development. This allows the simulation of large power system, including complex models for adaptive and digital controls, which are, nowadays, known limitations of existing commercial software tools for power engineering studies. This software, called DynaPower, was tested for dynamic simulation studies of phenomena related to the electromechanical oscillations of Tucuruí Hydroelectric Power Plant. Were modeled all the 23 power generating hydroelectric units present at hydropower plant, with a very detailed turbine representation as well as synchronous machines and related control systems representations, including automatic voltage regulators, speed governors and power system stabilizers. The simulation results were validated against data measured on field tests performed at Tucuruí Power Plant and using results from other commercial simulators. The results shown a very good performance of the developed simulator, which was able to reproduce in simulation many of dynamic phenomena observed on field tests of the HPP Tucuruí. |
