Summary: | The Fluminense Circle of Philological and Linguistic Studies is pleased to present this Special Issue, containing 32 articles related to the papers received by August 30, 2023, which were presented at the XXVII National Congress of Linguistics and Philology, held virtually from August 28 to 30, 2024, totaling 438 pages in this Special Volume of the Congress Proceedings. Regarding the history of this Congress's venues, it is worth noting that its first edition took place in November 1997 at the Faculty of Teacher Training of the State University of Rio de Janeiro (São Gonçalo-RJ), and the second edition was held at the Faculty of Letters of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (Rio de Janeiro-RJ). Subsequently, for fifteen consecutive editions, the event was hosted at the Institute of Letters of the State University of Rio de Janeiro (Rio de Janeiro-RJ), which led many frequent participants to consider it a UERJ event and to assume that CiFEFiL was a department or sector of that institution. |
