Resumo: | To think about population migration in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries is to reflect on the process of constitution of the population in a society, because at this time the social and cultural configurations are changing, ordering urban groups with the intention of organizing and disciplining the worker. in this new nation, now republican. When studying the migrations caused by drought and also by political circumstances, we must understand the scenario of these migrants, this environment filled with political issues and interests related to power. |
