總結: Objectives: To analyze how the Argentine State and the City of Rosario acted through their public policies to combat hunger, from the perspective of SDG2 (eradication of hunger) of Agenda 2030, during the pandemic period. Methodology: Bibliographical research of the national and international literature available in the SciELO databases, Argentine government, educational and press portals and the National University of Rosario (UNR). Results: The implementation of emergency public policy interventions by the city of Rosario, in coordination with the Government of Santa Fe Province and the National Government of Argentina, played a crucial role in mitigating the challenges related to food insecurity worsened during the COVID-19 pandemic. Contribution: The present research seeks to provide a significant contribution to the debates on the public policy agenda for sustainable development by proposing effective and sustainable public policies to address hunger in Brazil, based on the model applied in the city of Rosario, Argentina. In this study, a detailed analysis of some public policy models implemented in Rosario to combat hunger will be conducted, considering their successes, challenges, and achieved outcomes. Drawing from this evaluation, recommendations adapted to the Brazilian reality will be developed with the aim of establishing more effective and long term public policies to address food insecurity in the country. The scientific contribution of this study lies in identifying innovative and sustainable strategies capable of generating a significant impact on eradicating hunger in Brazil, aligning with the principles of the Sustainable Development Agenda. By providing evidence-based guidance and insights from successful experiences, this work aims to support the formulation of more informed and efficient public policies that contribute to the building of a more just, equitable, and sustainable society in the Brazilian context. Adherence to the program: The research intends to contribute to the current goals of the 2030 Agenda for sustainable development and the fight against hunger, in line with the objectives of the Graduate Program in Law and Social Justice (PPGDJS-FURG), research line Human Rights, Diversity and Digital Society, linked to the Graduate Program in Rights and Social Justice.
