Čoahkkáigeassu: | This work focuses on the production of architecture comprising the geographical space in the triad of countries Brazil, Argentina and Uruguay. The research started from the manifesto Aesthetics of the Cold, written by the musician Vitor Ramil, where the author talks about the cultural identity lived in Brazil that does not necessarily follow the imagery transmitted worldwide from a tropical country where samba and carnival prevail. In common with Ramil's ideas, this research brings to light this discussion the ideas of brothers Jorge and Daniel Drexler, Uruguayans from Montevideo, who defined the term Templadism also talking about the proximity of identities between the three countries. Starting from the classic concept of Terroir established by viticulture and French oenology, the hypothesis that the definition of culture, technique and man extends to the production of local architecture that mixes landscapes, materials, economics, history and society is investigated. As a final objective, it is investigated through analysis of case studies architectural elements that identify common characteristics that indicate a local architectural aesthetic, the Pampa architectural terroir. The elements remain present in the current local architecture and evolve through time as: fireplaces, barbecues, balconies, rocks and wood characterizing this architectural identity. |
