Shrnutí: | The purpose of this study is to realize the memories that exist around of the old mansions located in the city of Alcântaras-CE, understanding them as workspaces of men and women. We found that in the Algodões site lived people of political influence of this city in the twentieth century, making it essential to understand the relationships between political alliances and the work that existed around the big houses. To develop this study, it was necessary to hear the reports and memories of workers, which differed between residents, tenants and households and who maintained ties and relationships with their employers. |
