Ամփոփում: The entire healthcare system was drastically impacted by the new coronavirus pandemic. A quick remodeling had to be done to attend to the different cases of the disease that are discovered every day. The pandemic gave rise to emergency measures in the countries and, specifically in Brazil, the indeterminate closure of public schools and universities, social distancing and the permanence of everyone in their homes were established to avoid the spread of the problem. It is hoped that the pandemic will serve as a lesson for managers and others involved in the Brazilian health system. The work “Abordagens em Saúde Pública: From Normal Times to Pandemic” was conceived based on scientific articles specially selected by researchers in the field. The contents present pertinent considerations on the topics covered in the research medium and/or object of study. Thus, one of the objectives of this publication is to guarantee the gathering and visibility of these scientific contents through a preferable communication channel for many readers. This e-book has scientific works allied to the themes of practices related to public health and the Covi-19 pandemic, as well as aspects that seek to account for the contributions of various authors. It is possible to verify the use of applied research methodologies, as well as a variety of objects of study.
