The image of a community library is in the ascendant in the current times, with the intention of encouraging the constant improvement of these spaces, a historical cut of these environments was made with interesting reports. The image of the social librarian is present throughout the history of its formation, always caring for social welfare, not only in the informational but also social sphere. Casa São José, housed in a needy community on the outskirts of the Brazilian capital called Varjão, was composed of a library that did not meet the informational needs of the population, the reformulation of this space bringing real and tangible objectives with the financial sphere was made community, bringing a new meaning to this space, financial resources and a local socio-educational change for the Varjão community. |
