Whakarāpopototanga: | This workshop was developed with the aim of providing participants - professionals in the field of education, undergraduate and graduate students and the community in general - with notions about the legislation relevant to people with physical disabilities, seeking to emphasize their rights. In order to better understand who these legal subjects are, several illustrative photos were presented in which we glimpse which members are affected by each type of physical disability and the limitations they bring to the individual. The selection of this material was based on the descriptions of the physical disability present in the Laws and in the consulted works. In this way, the participants were able to visualize and appropriate this knowledge, which is fundamental so that we can help people with physical disabilities to have autonomy in their daily activities. |
