Περίληψη: | The Federal Constitution of 88 brought the enactment of the guarantee of access to justice for all. Allied to this fact, there is a “culture of litigation” present in Brazilian society. In this context, the judiciary has received a significant procedural load, and cannot meet the demand efficiently. Conflict mediation emerges as an alternative means of resolving disputes. Such restorative justice method proves to be fast, effective and low-cost for resolving disputes and effectively promoting broad access to justice. |
