Automation can be checked when new technologies are introduced to replace a manual command system to an automated one. In the case presented in this paper, was proposed and implemented an automation of control of the vibrators from the vibratory trough system from a stuffed cookies machine. The control of these vibrators was done manually, using potentiometers, which did not show satisfactory accuracy. The power control process for an automatic vibration of vibrating trough, allows precise adjustment of the process, avoiding excessive vibration, that degrades the performance of the filling machine and the production process. This automation provides additional flexibility for the operator to perform its function, because it controls the whole process through a single centralized controller, mounted on panel for easy access. The automation system was satisfactory to the company, the expected result was within the main objectives, which were increase the work quality for the filling machine biscuits, reduce the machine work stoppages and decrease the break occurrence of the vibration spring. Positive results were collected, the initial goal was reached and the automation of the process was successful.
