Resumo: In the Far West of Santa Catarina, recently, the implantation of systems of confinement of milk cattle of the type Compost barn is taking place. Organic fertilization from the composting process can be a viable alternative to the rural producer, promoting the recycling of nutrients in the property. The present work has as main objective to evaluate the best relation between bovine compost from the system Compost barn and shavings for use as organic fertilizer. The experiment was carried out in the municipality of São José do Cedro, between February and May 2016. The experiment consisted of four treatments: 100%, 75%, 50% and 25% of bovine litter from the Compost barn system with addition of shavings. The compost heaps were established with the specific proportions for each treatment. Weekly battery cell readings were taken and samples were taken at the end of the process to analyze the levels of organic C, mineral N, available P and K of the initial and final compounds. All treatments under evaluation presented favorable temperature values for the composting process. There was a reduction in the volume of the piles in all treatments, and decreased by 42%, 46%, 54% and 61%, respectively, to 100%, 75%, 50% and 25% compound. It was observed that the higher the proportion of compound in the mixture, the higher the concentration of N and K. The composting process provided an increase in concentration K for 100% and 75% compound treatments. Composting provided an increase P concentration in all treatments, while for C the content was reduced. The C/N ratio decreases as the percentage of the compound increases, and the treatments 25% and 50% presented C/N values above the ideal for a mature compound, these treatments being not ideal to obtain a quality product and with higher concentration of nutrients.

Universidade Tecnológica Federal do ParanáDois VizinhosBrasilManejo da Fertilidade do SoloUTFPRPocojeski, ElisandraPocojeski, ElisandraTessaro, DineiaCasali, Carlos AlbertoRigon, Alexandre Davide2021-04-05T19:00:35Z2021-04-05T19:00:35Z2016-12-22info:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersioninfo:eu-repo/semantics/bachelorThesisapplication/pdfRIGON, Alexandre Davide.
