Increasing industrialization and the indiscriminate use of natural resources has caused serious environmental impacts. What we see is a major concern of businesses and governments to adopt measures to control pollution. Conventional treatment of industrial effluents do not have very efficiently, since some processes have certain loads impurities. One technique that has stood out is the electrochemical process in the treatment of industrial effluents, this technique is called electroflocculation. In this context was developed this study which used the electroflocculation technique for the treatment of sewage and refrigerator slaughterhouse pigs. The electrochemical reactor is aluminum electrodes, with the operating variables, electrolysis and electrical potential difference (ddp). Using the methodology of response surfaces a composite rotational design Central (CCRD), eletrocflocculation of experiments was conducted to obtain the optimal parameters of the reactor. The process efficiency was based on the removal of color, turbidity and COD removal results obtained where around 98, 99 and 81%, respectively. The experimental design was significant, considering the analysis of variables on testing at a confidence level of 95%, given the statistical analyzes.
