The objective of coursework is studing and to build two prototypes of effect pedals, one for guitar and one for acoustic-guitar, and analyze your cost and compare commercial models available on the market. The focus of this coursework will be to studing all the concepts used in the design of electrical circuits for signal modulation, thus presenting all the components and their functions. The adequacy of the signal from the input of the pedal to the output must be carried out, concepts such as the physics of musical instruments, their means of capturing and propagating sound will also be addressed. In the sequence, the circuits of the two pedals will be presented, with the details of each operating stage, and presentation of the simulation results. After the process of making the printed circuit boards and building the pedals, the experimental waveforms were obtained to demonstrate the operation. The price for the purchase of materials for the construction of the pedals (around R$ 120.00) makes them a very attractive option, compared to the prices of equivalent commercial pedals (from R$ 300.00).
