This project aims to develop a functional prototype of a Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) to support presential. The prototype were developed to be an user interface centered software aiming at student’s ease of se, in order to facilitate their access to content provided by teachers or class tutors. To achieve the prototype’s objective this project were based on VLE’s interface design and usability. The engineering life cycle model used were Prototyping, mainly because it was originally conceived to be a faster method for creating prototypes and support the visual elements development by the ease of error correction. Education, teaching-learning process, human-computer interaction and design factors build the theoretical foundation of this project and, through this development, the result achieved consists in user’s validation of the VLE functional prototype. We hope that this VLE, when completely deployed, support the presential.
