Summary: The present work deals with the formulation and development of the finite element method for simulation and analysis of the behavior of crosslinked structures under the action of external forces. Enhancements involving nonlinearities seek to approximate the behavior of the system designed for the real case, causing complications in the mathematical model that need numerical methods to obtain the solution, demanding a high convergence rate to reduce computational cost. The algorithm was implemented in Python, making it possible to predict the behavior and check the influence of nonlinearities on structural problems considering von Kármán strain.
