This work proposes a comprehensive analysis of student housing in Curitiba, focusing on five specific institutions: CEU, CELU, CEUC, CENIBRAC, and LAC. Each of these residences has unique aspects regarding their foundation, structure, and philosophy, standing out as distinct options for accommodating university students in the city. Additionally, the feasibility and potential of the Ecoville neighborhood for the implementation of a new student housing project are investigated, considering its strategic proximity to prominent academic institutions. Within the scope of general project guidelines, this work outlines conditions and conceptual premises for the development of the architectural concept of a residential complex for students. The assessment of needs, analysis of physical, legal, and environmental constraints, and the predimensioning of spaces are integral to this process, aiming to create student housing that goes beyond functionality, fostering a stimulating environment for learning, personal development, and social interaction. The pre-dimensioning of the project encompasses a variety of spaces, from individual rooms to technical areas and outdoor spaces. The balanced distribution between private and communal areas aims to provide a comprehensive and enriching experience for resident students. The choice of land in the Ecoville neighborhood is supported by strategic criteria, such as compliance with local regulations, proximity to educational institutions, and efficient accessibility through public transportation.
