Summary: The present study aims to propose improvements in the production line of pneumatic bags in an auto parts company, using Value Stream Mapping (VSM). To achieve this goal, the map of the Current State of the production process of pneumatic bags was outlined, aiming for a clear understanding of the value stream. Critical points in the production process were identified, and actions were formulated to enhance performance. Additionally, a map of the Future State was developed, reflecting an ideal and optimized view of the production process, based on the actions proposed in the Current State map. The Arena software was utilized to improve the analysis. The results highlighted potential gains, such as a significant 48% reduction in lead time, decreasing from 92.37 to 47.37 days. Given this analysis, it is recommended to explore other possible areas for improvement in the production process. This may include a more detailed analysis of operations at each stage, investigating innovative automation technologies, and seeking strategies aimed at waste reduction and resource conservation.

Para alcançar esse objetivo, delineou-se o mapa do Estado Atual do processo produtivo de bolsas pneumáticas da empresa em análise, visando uma compreensão clara do fluxo de valor. Foram identificados pontos críticos no processo produtivo e formuladas ações para aprimorar o desempenho. Adicionalmente, foi elaborado um mapa do Estado Futuro, refletindo uma visão ideal e otimizada do processo produtivo, embasado nas ações propostas no mapa do Estado Atual. Para aprimorar a análise, recorreu-se ao software Arena. Os resultados evidenciaram ganhos potenciais, como a redução significativa do lead time em 48%, diminuindo de 92,37 para 47,37 dias. Diante dessa análise, recomenda-se a exploração de outras possíveis áreas de aprimoramento no processo produtivo.
