One of the great tools of the Pavement Management is the evaluation of the surface condition in the asphalt pavement, which observes what types of defects may arise, their severity and extent, so that there is an adequate rehabilitation and maintenance of the roads, in such a manner that the investments made are carried out in a creteriously way and guarantee quality, comfort and safety for road users. In this regard, the present work presents a comparative study between three methodologies that aim to evaluate the condition of asphalt pavements applied in an extension of the PR-317 highway, in the municipality of Campo Mourão, state of Paraná, accounting for 1 kilometer. To carry out the research, the following methodologies were applied: Service Instruction No. 16/2019/DNIT, chapter 1, of the Maintenance Condition Index (ICM); Continuous Visual Survey to evaluate the surface of flexible and semi-rigid pavements (LVC), governed by DNIT 008/2003-PRO; and subjective evaluation of the surface of flexible and semi-rigid pavements, according to DNIT standard 009/2003-PRO. It was carried out a survey of the pathological manifestations of the asphalt surface of the segment in question, for later application of the evaluation method and classification of the pavement condition. After carrying out a comparative analysis of the results obtained, in view of the presented diagnosis, in which the state of the pavement surface under study was classified respectively as bad and regular, according to the first method and terrible and bad, according to the last two, so it was possible to verify the divergence between them. That said, it's evident the necessity of different evaluation methods usage for the pavement condition to obtain more accurate results, with the purpose to achieve more effective and economic solutions to correct such pathologies.
