This work intends to collaborate in the development of students’ autonomy in acquiring their knowledge through the use of active methodologies. Based on the active methodology Team-based learning, the functional prototype of a web tool was developed, using the Java programming language, to meet some specific stages of he methodology. The development of this proposal was based on the need to incorporate the technologies in the classroom, as a way to arouse the interest of the students, to help the teacher to mediate large groups and at the same time to promote the autonomy of the students in their learning process.
