Fhytophysionomic analysis of two areas of seasonally dry tropical forest

Summary: | The objective of this study was to structurally characterize the vegetation present in two different caatinga physiognomies at the Aroeira Grande municipality in Baraúna / RN. For this study, the plot method was used in which all the included individuals had height and stem diameter at the base level (DBL) ? 3 cm and ? 1 m, respectively. The species Cordia glazioviana, Croton blanchetianus, Cynophalla flexuosa, and Poincianella pyramidalis presented the highest phytosociological parameters for Area I, with 12.5% relative frequencies. Croton blanchetianus stood out with 88.12% relative density and Croton glazioviana predominated in the dominance parameter with 59.88%.dominance. In Area II, Piptadenia stipulaceae, Bauhinia cheilantha, and Cynophala flexuosa presented the highest relative frequencies, all with 7.32%. However, Croton blanchetianus stood out over the rest of the species in density (32.33%) and in dominance (17.36%). The Euphorbiaceae family was predominant in both areas. |

El trabajo se realizó en dos fragmentos de caatinga ubicados en el sitio Aroeira Grande en el municipio de Baraúna / RN. Para este estudio se utilizó el método de parcelas en el que todos los individuos incluidos, tenían un diámetro y altura de la base (DAB) ?3 cm y ?1 m, respectivamente. Las especies: Cordia glazioviana, Croton blanchetianus, Cynophalla flexuosa y Poincianella pyramidalis, presentaron los parámetros fitosociológicos más altos para el área I, con frecuencias relativas (12,5%). En la densidad relativa se destacó Croton blanchetianus con 88,12% y Croton glazioviana predominó en el parámetro de dominancia con 59,88%. En el área II, Piptadenia stipulaceae y Bauhinia cheilantha, tuvieron las frecuencias relativas más altas, ambas con 7.32%. Sin embargo, para el parámetro de densidad Croton blanchetianus se destacó sobre las otras especies 32.77% así como en la pregunta de dominancia (17.36%). La familia Euphorbiaceae fue predominante en ambas áreas.Objetivou-se com o trabalho caracterizar estruturalmente a vegetação presente em duas diferentes fisionomias de caatinga no Sítio Aroeira Grande município de Baraúna/RN. O trabalho foi realizado em dois fragmentos de caatinga localizados no sítio Aroeira Grande no município de Baraúna/RN. Para este estudo, utilizou-se o método de parcelas em que todos os indivíduos inclusos, apresentavam diâmetro e altura da base (DAB) ?3 cm e ?1 m, respectivamente. As espécies: Cordia glazioviana, Croton blanchetianus, Cynophalla flexuosa e Poincianella pyramidalis, foram as que apresentaram maiores parâmetros fitossociológicos para área I, com frequências relativas (12,5%). Na densidade relativa Croton blanchetianus destacou com 88,12%, e Croton glazioviana predominou no parâmetro de dominância com 59,88%. Na área II, Piptadenia stipulaceae e Bauhinia cheilantha, foram as que apresentaram maiores frequências relativas, ambas com 7,32%. No entanto, para o parâmetro de densidade Croton blanchetianus sobressaiu sobre as demais espécies 32,77% bem como no quesito de dominância (17,36%).
