Summary: Este trabalho defende que o crescimento numérico da igreja local é apresentado na bíblia dependente (1) do agir soberano de Deus e (2) da responsabilidade humana. Uma vez que esse é um artigo de teologia prática, iremos trabalhar questões teóricas e práticas dessa afirmação. Primeiro, será feita, por meio da exposição de alguns textos bíblicos selecionados, a defesa bíblica dessa tese. Após essa defesa, será apresentado alguns perigos que existe quando não mantemos essas duas verdades equilibradas no contexto da igreja local. Por fim, será explorado como o apóstolo Paulo equilibrava essas duas verdades em seu ministério.

Since this is a practical theology article, we will work on theoretical and practical issues in this statement. First, through the exposition of some selected biblical texts, the biblical defense of this thesis will be made. After this defense, some dangers that exist when we do not keep these two truths balanced in the context of the local church will be presented.
