Summary: The aim of this article is to understand how "social reading" is configured in Brazil, by looking at online applications that include this and other reading practices in digital environments. We carried out a survey of reading-related apps found in the Google Play Store, classifying them into categories based on authors in the field. We concluded that these environments have the potential to encourage dialog and production between readers, each with its own specificities.

Realizamos una encuesta de las aplicaciones relacionadas con la lectura encontradas en Google Play Store, clasificándolas en categorías creadas en base a los autores del área. Se concluye que estos ambientes poseen potencial para incentivar el diálogo y la producción entre los lectores, cada uno poseyendo sus especificidades.on la lectura.O objetivo do artigo é compreender como se configura a “leitura social” no Brasil, observando os aplicativos on-line que contemplam esta e outras práticas de leitura em ambientes digitais. Realizamos um levantamento dos aplicativos relacionados à leitura encontrados no Google Play Store, classificando-os em categorias criadas com base nos autores da área.
