Resumo: Neuropsicolinguistics brings to a discussion one of the major difficulties faced in nowadays education – reading. Through various hands Neuropsicolinguistics tries to reveal how this processing occurs, as it is a complex language skill. In general, we present here some of the neuroscientific finds on the matter. What we want is to problematize it, emphasizing its importance, and show that a grater knowledge in the area can benefit not only the academic community, but especially teachers and relatives interested in obtaining success in the teaching-learning reading process.
