Revisiting Fernando Pessoa: the creator relativism, the paradox, the plurality

Resumo: In order to fulful the request of the editors of journal signo, in the year it celebrates 40 years of existence, we present this article, which is a revised version of the article “the relativism creator in fernando pessoa”, published in september 1986. In this new version, entitled "revisiting Pessoa: the creator relativism, the paradox, the plurality". It addresses relativism in a very precise meaning, related to the creative process of Fernando Pessoa, who presents himself as multiples in order to engender different truths. The article also makes references to the heteronomous, the paganism, the influences of time (age), pretending while significant elements of an esthetic characterized by paradox and plurality.

Originalmente, o artigo se intitulava “O relativismo criador em Fernando Pessoa”. Nessa nova versão, passa a intitular-se “Revisitar Pessoa: o relativismo criador, o paradoxo, a pluralidade”. Aborda o relativismo num sentido muito particular, relacionado ao processo criativo de Fernando Pessoa, que se multiplicou em vários para poder engendrar diferentes verdades.
