Summary: In writing this article we sought to understand the contributions, limits and challenges of implementing Law 10.639/03. Metasynthesis seeks to create new understandings beyond primary studies with in-depth data analysis.To this end, we carried out a meta-synthesis based on a survey of works (dissertations and theses), using the BUSCAd tool - version 2.8.4. The Brazilian Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations (BDTD) and the Capes Catalogue of Dissertations and Theses were selected to search for works published between 2003 and 2023, and the terms “Ethnic-Racial Education”, “Pedagogical Practice” and “Law 10.639/2003” were used in conjunction. We obtained a corpus of 17 papers which were read, listed and mapped. The results show that the works analyzed contributed to verifying the existence of limiting factors, structural racism and epistemicide appear as mechanisms for the non-promotion and disqualification of Law 10.639/03 in school spaces. This produces weaknesses in teaching, the curriculum, training, capacity building and teaching materials. Aspects that influenced the understanding of the contributions and challenges of Law 10.639/03.

A metassíntese busca criar novas compreensões além dos estudos primários com aprofundamento nas análises dos dados. Para tanto realizamos uma metassíntese a partir do levantamento de trabalhos (dissertações e teses), utilizando a ferramenta BUSCAd - versão 2.8.4As plataformas Biblioteca Digital Brasileira de Teses e Dissertações (BDTD) e Catálogo de Dissertações e Teses da Capes foram selecionadas para a busca dos trabalhos publicados entre os anos de 2003 e 2023, e foram utilizados de forma conjugada os termos “Educação Étnico-Racial”, “Prática Pedagógicas” e “Lei 10.639/2003”. Obtivemos um corpus de 17 trabalhos que foram lidos, fichados e mapeados. Os resultados apontam que os trabalhos analisados contribuíram para verificar a existência de fatores limitantes, o racismo estrutural e o epistemicídio aparecem como mecanismos para a não promoção e desqualificação da Lei 10.639/03 nos espaços escolares, produzindo fragilidades no ensino, currículo, formação, capacitação e materiais didáticos; aspectos que influenciaram na compreensão dos limites e desafios da Lei 10.639/03.Al escribir este artículo buscamos comprender las contribuciones, límites y desafíos de la implementación de la Ley 10.639/03. La metasíntesis busca crear nuevos conocimientos más allá de los estudios primarios con un análisis de datos en profundidad. Para ello, realizamos una metasíntesis a partir de un relevamiento de trabajos (disertaciones y tesis), utilizando la herramienta BUSCAd - versión 2.8.4. Se seleccionaron la Biblioteca Digital Brasileña de Tesis y Disertaciones (BDTD) y el Catálogo Capes de Disertaciones y Tesis para buscar trabajos publicados entre 2003 y 2023, y se utilizaron conjuntamente los términos «Etnoeducación», «Práctica Pedagógica» y «Ley 10.639/2003». Obtuvimos un corpus de 17 trabajos que fueron leídos, catalogados y mapeados. Los resultados muestran que los trabajos analizados contribuyeron a verificar la existencia de factores limitantes, el racismo estructural y el epistemicidio aparecen como mecanismos de no promoción y descalificación de la Ley 10.639/03 en los espacios escolares. Esto produce debilidades en la enseñanza, en el currículo, en la formación, en la capacitación y en los materiales didácticos.
