Summary: With the market in constant growth, the pressure for competitiveness forces companies to seek alternatives to coordinate their operation, focusing on eliminate squander, reduce expenses and improve the response time in relation to the market. Companies in the civil construction sector are in this scenario and are looking for solutions to increase efficiency and effectiveness in their activities. For this reason, this article brings, through a review, the possible impacts that the implementation of the ERP system can provide in civil construction. These impacts are positive, such as the integration of all areas of the company, documentation of processes, or negative, such as high costs and adaptation of the organization regarding the system.
