TECHNOLOGIES ON THE FRONTIERS OF EDUCATION-RHIZOME

Summary: | This article is a text/rhizome in dialogue with the networks of everyday know-how woven in two decades dedicated to the study of new media, trends and contemporary technologies of sociability. The problem that motivates us concerns the roles of education and communication in the face of challenges surrounding communication technologies. How to deal with the technological profusion that does not keep up with the slow pace of bodies and minds? The research that resulted in state and regional awards, in addition to expanding academic dialogues to exponential audiences, was carried out using the everyday method, focusing on understanding pedagogical possibilities that do not dichotomize the interconnections between physical spaces and digital interfaces. The historical contextualization of communication technologies and theories illustrates how it is possible to give new meaning to the means, resources, strategies and languages at the intersections between education and new media. |

El problema que nos motiva se refiere al papel de la educación y la comunicación frente a los desafíos que rodean las tecnologías de la comunicación. ¿Cómo afrontar la profusión tecnológica que no sigue el ritmo lento de los cuerpos y las mentes? La investigación que resultó en premios estatales y regionales, además de ampliar los diálogos académicos a audiencias exponenciales, se realizó utilizando el método cotidiano, enfocándose en comprender posibilidades pedagógicas que no dicotomizan las interconexiones entre espacios físicos e interfaces digitales. La contextualización histórica de las tecnologías y teorías de la comunicación ilustra cómo es posible dar un nuevo significado a los medios, recursos, estrategias y lenguajes en las intersecciones entre educación y nuevos medios.Este artigo é um texto/rizoma em diálogo com as redes de saberesfazeres cotidianas tecidas em duas décadas dedicadas aos estudos das novas mídias, tendências e tecnologias contemporâneas da sociabilidade. O problema que nos motiva diz respeito aos papeis da educação e da comunicação diante dos desafios em torno das tecnologias de comunicação. Como lidar com a profusão tecnológica que não acompanha o lento ritmo dos corpos e das mentes? A pesquisa que resultou em premiação estadual e regional, além de ampliar os diálogos acadêmicos para públicos exponenciais, foi realizada sob o método cotidianista, com foco na compreensão das possibilidades pedagógicas que não dicotomizam as interconexões entre espaços físicos e interfaces digitais.
