The contributions of the National School of Socioeducation courses for professionals who work with socio-educational measures from the point of view of moral psychology

Summary: The objective of this work was to analyze, from the perspective of moral psychology, some courses of the National School of Socioeducation, seeking for set a relation with the perception of former students about the contributions obtained from these courses. For this task was realized a documental and exploratory research, the latter making using the clinical interview as one of the methodological instruments. The data was analyzed in a qualitative way and categorized by the methodological process of content analysis from Laurence Bardin. The findings evidenced that the ENS’ courses brought substantial improvements to the students, however, these contributions was more in the information level than in terms of a change of stance in the direction socio-educational work.  We believe that moral psychology studies can be useful for ENS courses, bringing contributions mainly to the process of becoming aware of socio-educational practice.

Para ello, se realizó una investigación documental y exploratoria, utilizando la entrevista clínica como uno de los instrumentos metodológicos. Los datos fueron analizados cualitativamente y categorizados de acuerdo con los procedimientos metodológicos de análisis de contenido de Laurence Bardin. Los resultados mostraron que los cursos de la ENS trajeron contribuciones significativas para los estudiantes, sin embargo, estas fueron más en términos del nivel de información que en términos de un cambio de actitud hacia el trabajo socioeducativo. Creemos que los estudios de psicología moral pueden ser útiles para los cursos de la ENS, trayendo contribuciones principalmente para el proceso de toma de conciencia de la práctica socioeducativa.O objetivo desse trabalho foi analisar, sob a ótica da psicologia moral, alguns cursos da Escola Nacional de Socioeducação, buscando estabelecer uma relação com a percepção dos ex-alunos a respeito das contribuições deles. Para tanto, foi realizada a pesquisa documental e exploratória, utilizando como um dos instrumentos metodológicos a entrevista clínica. Os dados foram analisados de forma qualitativa e categorizados de acordo com os procedimentos metodológicos da análise de conteúdo de Laurence Bardin. Os resultados demonstraram que os cursos da ENS trouxeram contribuições significativas aos alunos, todavia, estas foram mais quanto ao nível de informação do que em termos de uma mudança de postura frente ao trabalho socioeducativo.
