Civic-militarized schools in Brazil: a state of knowledge in Brazil

Summary: | This article aims to present a state of knowledge about research carried out in Brazil on civic-military schools. It is an offshoot of a dissertation that investigated the curriculum of militarized schools in the Federal District defended in May 2021 in the Graduate Program in Education- Professional Modality (PPGE-MP) at the Faculty of Education of the University of Brasília-UnB.It was oriented around dissertations and theses of master's and doctorate located in the Thesis and Dissertations Databases of google academic sites, Scielo Network, Capes Database – Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations (BDTD) and an Institutional Repository. Fifteen papers were found, one thesis and fourteen dissertations. It was found that only the Midwest and Southeast regions have conducted research on the theme, showing that so far few researchers have been interested in the subject. The militarization of public schools proved to be an element of reflection of fields of knowledge that are beyond Education, such as Psychology, Social Sciences and Anthropology, however, it has not yet been verified in the inventoried researches the distinction between military and militarized institutions, a nerve point of policies and debates for the area. |

Se constituye como un despliegue de una disertación que investigó el currículo de las escuelas militarizadas del Distrito Federal defendida en mayo de 2021 en el Programa de Posgrado en Educación - Modalidad Profesional (PPGE-MP) de la Facultad de Educación de la Universidad de Brasilia - UnB . Se orientó en torno a disertaciones y tesis de maestría y doctorado ubicadas en los Bancos de Tesis y Disertaciones de los sitios web de Google Scholar, Red Scielo, Base de Datos Capes - Biblioteca Digital de Tesis y Disertaciones (BDTD) y un Repositorio Institucional. Se encontraron quince trabajos, una tesis y catorce disertaciones. Se constató que solo las regiones del Medio Oeste y Sudeste ya han realizado investigaciones sobre el tema, lo que demuestra que hasta el momento pocos investigadores se han interesado en el tema. La militarización de las escuelas públicas resultó ser un elemento de reflexión de campos del saber que están más allá de la Educación, como por ejemplo la Psicología, las Ciencias Sociales y la Antropología, sin embargo, la controversia de la diferenciación entre instituciones militares y militarizadas aún no ha sido resuelta. verificado en las encuestas, centro neurálgico de políticas y debates para la zona.Este artigo tem por objetivo apresentar um estado do conhecimento acerca das pesquisas realizadas no Brasil sobre as escolas cívico-militares. Constitui-se comodesdobramento de dissertação que investigou o currículo das escolas militarizadas no Distrito Federal defendida em maio de 2021 no Programa de pós-Graduação em Educação- Modalidade Profissional (PPGE-MP) na Faculdade de Educação da Universidade de Brasília- UnB. Orientou-se em torno de dissertações e teses de mestrado e doutorado localizados nos Bancos de Teses e Dissertações dos sites Google Acadêmico, Rede Scielo, Banco de Dados da Capes – Biblioteca Digital de Teses e Dissertações (BDTD) e um Repositório Institucional. Foram encontrados quinze trabalhos, sendo uma tese e quatorze dissertações. Constatou-se que somente as regiões centro-oeste e sudeste já realizaram pesquisas sobre a temática, evidenciando que até o presente momento poucos pesquisadores se interessaram pelo assunto.
