Licenças alternativas de proteção intelectual atribuídas a periódicos técnicos e/ou científicos da área da Ciência da Informação no contexto da Ciência Aberta

This article aims to analyze the alternative licenses adopted in technical and / or scientific journals in the area of â â Information Science in the context of Open Science. It is a qualitative research, with characteristics classified as exploratory and bibliographic. Twenty journal titles were selected from the evaluation area 31 - Communication and Information, covering the basic areas: Communication, Information Science and Museology, based on the methodology proposed by the new Qualis, with stratification attributed: A1, A2, A3, A4. As a data collection technique, procedures were used for documentary research, since as pages of the editorial policies of all journals, the scope of this study, were visited in order to identify themselves as assigned and then analyzed according to the steps presented by Oliveira (2011): 1. Pre-analysis; 2. Coding and; 3. Treatment of results. It was identified that six journals adopt a CC BY 4.0 license, two one CC BY-NC 3.0, two one CC BY-NC 4.0, two CC BY-NC-ND 2.5 BR, two CC BY-NC-SA, two one CC BY -SA 4.0, one to CC BY 2.5 BR, one to CC BY-NC and two were not identified as assigned. It was found that there is no uniformity of concessions adopted by journals in the Information Science area, with a predominance of CC-BY and CC BY-NC concessions.
