Immigration flows in Paraná’s contemporary historical novel of mediation

Summary: This paper approaches different figurations of immigratory flows in the State of Paraná, which are promoted by Paraná’s contemporary historical novels of mediation. Thus, it presents an analysis of Um amor anarquista, by Miguel Sanches Neto, which re-means the episode of the founding and dissolution of Colony Cecilia, formed by anarchist Italian immigrants. This approach is carried out in a comparativist perspective to two others novels: Nihonjin by Oscar Nakasato, and Retrato no entardecer de Agosto by Luiz Manfredini. In this process we approach the relations between the official historiography and the historical extraction literature, especially the dialogues and critical re-meanings carried out by the fictional discourse; we examine the novel’s modality peculiarities to which them belong; and we verify how the migratory movements are represented in the diegetic universe, as well as their reflexes in the society formation and in the consolidation of a cultural identity.

Assim, apresenta-se uma análise de Um amor anarquista, de Miguel Sanches Neto, o qual ressignifica o episódio da fundação e dissolução da Colônia Cecília, formada por imigrantes italianos anarquistas. Essa análise é realizada em uma perspectiva comparativa a outras duas obras: Nihonjin, de Oscar Nakasato, e Retrato no entardecer de agosto, de Luiz Manfredini.
