Summary: Under a narrative methodology of professional experiences, a first approximation is presented on the experiences lived and the attitudes observed in a textile art workshop for adolescents in a private secondary school, this workshop is considered as a space for the recovery of the proposal made by the New Educational Model proposed in Mexico by the Ministry of Public Education (SEP) in 2017 around the so-called Areas of Curricular Autonomy that as of 2019 came into disuse. The active observation of the phenomena that occurred in this new workshop encourages reflection on the relationship between the development of manual skills, cognitive processes and the development of socio-emotional skills that arise while adolescents face aesthetic experiences in spaces of trust and cooperation by medium of textile materials and tools.

La observación activa de los fenómenos acaecidos en este nuevo taller propicia la reflexión sobre la relación entre el desarrollo de las habilidades manuales, los procesos cognitivos y el desarrollo de habilidades socioemocionales que se suscitan mientras los adolescentes enfrentan experiencias estéticas en espacios de confianza y cooperación por medio de materiales y herramientas textiles.Sob uma metodologia narrativa de experiências profissionais, apresenta-se uma primeira aproximação sobre as experiências vividas e as atitudes observadas em uma oficina de arte têxtil para adolescentes de uma escola secundária privada, esta oficina é considerada como um espaço de resgate da proposta feita pelo Novo Modelo Educacional proposto no México pelo Ministério da Educação Pública (SEP) em 2017 em torno das chamadas Áreas de Autonomia Curricular que a partir de 2019 entraram em desuso.
