Summary: © 2015 The AuthorsWithin the Product Design Process, much information are loosed when they aren't properly managed. One of the most difficulties found in the information management process occurs when the complex situations appears, especial at ergonomic parameters. So, the present paper discuses the difficulties confronted, by students of industrial design, on the construction of ergonomic design requirements of a new product. The main idea of these research is focused on define how the complex situations on ergonomic analysis may be overcome. When clarified these difficulties, the possibilities of understanding the interaction phenomenon between product and user must be easier for a industrial design student. The new understood information, that includes ergonomic data, could be clearly used to define the product design requirements in conceptual stage at product development process. The methodology used to develop the research includes analysis of theory of complexity in ergonomics, compared with industrial design methodology approach, and students’ behavior while developing the product design process at Conceptual Stage. All information is analyzed and compared with some product examples developed by the students. The results will provide a new way of understanding the human behavior through ergonomic perspective and its usefully information on product development process. This will provide more resources for teaching industrial design methodology and make easier the understood of intangible ergonomic requirements. Some test must be done to explore the new possibilities of understanding made by the students of industrial design.
