Summary: The objective of the research is to recognize the importance of the nurse's assistance to patients with venous ulcers using an unna boot. For development and analysis, the method used was the integrative review in the VHL and Scielo, databases of articles and theses published between 2014 and 2023. To construct the integrative review, 14 articles were selected based on titles and abstracts. It is concluded that nurses' assistance in caring for patients with venous ulcers, through compressive and topical techniques, has shown improvement in venous injuries, reduced pain, fewer recurrence rates, more comfort and quality of life.

Para el desarrollo y análisis, el método utilizado fue la revisión integradora en las bases de datos de la BVS y Scielo, de artículos y tesis publicados entre 2014 y 2023. Para construir la revisión integradora, se seleccionaron 14 artículos, con base en títulos y resúmenes. Se concluye que la asistencia del enfermero en el cuidado de pacientes con úlceras venosas, mediante técnicas compresivas y tópicas, ha mostrado mejoría en las lesiones venosas, reducción del dolor, menores tasas de recurrencia, más comodidad y calidad de vida.O objetivo da pesquisa é reconhecer a importância da assistência do enfermeiro frente ao paciente portador de úlcera venosa em uso da bota de unna. Para o desenvolvimento e análise, o método abordado foi a revisão integrativa nas bases de dados BVS e Scielo, de artigos e teses publicados entre 2014 e 2023. Para a construção da revisão integrativa, foram selecionados 14 artigos, a partir dos títulos e resumos.
