Summary: Arbuscular mycorrhizae (Glomus intraradices Schenck & Smith) increased root and shoot growth, and P content in sour orange (Citrus aurantium L) seedlings. The application of indolebutyric acid (IBA) at 2.0 g/I as root dip was innefective in increasing growth to nonmycorrhizal seedlings, but applications to mycorrhizal seedlings had a positive interactive effect. The application of naphthaleneacetic acid (NAA) at 0.5 g/I was innefective to both nonmycorrhizal and mycorrhizal seedlings.

The application of naphthaleneacetic acid (NAA) at 0.5 g/I was innefective to both nonmycorrhizal and mycorrhizal seedlings. Fungos micorrízicos arbusculares (Glomus intraradices Schenck & Smith) induziram maior crescimento radicular e aéreo, e maior conteúdo de P foliar em plântulas de laranjeira azeda (Citrus aurantium L.). A aplicação, via radicular, de ácido indolbutfrico (MB) na concentração de 2,0 g/1, mostrou-se ineficaz para estimular o crescimento das plântulas cultivadas em ausência de MVA, mas apresentou um efeito interativo positivo ao ser aplicado em plântulas micorrizadas. O tratamento com ácido naftalenoacético (ANA), na concentração de 0,5 g/I, mostrou-se ineficiente para estimular o crescimento tanto em plântulas não micorrizadas, como micorrizadas.
