Resumo: The present study aimed to analyze the relationship between body image and risky sexual behaviors in students at the secondary level of an educational institution, had a non-experimental design, of correlational cross-sectional cut. The sample consisted of 403 participants (51.6% female and 48.4% male) aged between 12 and 17 who completed the Body Shape Questionnaire (BSQ) online surveys and the Risk Sexual Behaviors Scale. The results revealed that 72.7% of adolescents showed a moderate level of concern about body image and 47.1% presented a low level of risky sexual behaviors, it was also evidenced that factors such as grade, sex and age are not related to body image, but to those with risky sexual behaviors; finally, it was concluded that body image is related to risk sexual behaviors (rho = .715; p = .000) accepting the study hypothesis.

La muestra estuvo conformada por 403 participantes (51.6% mujeres y 48.4% varones) con edades entre los 12 y 17 años que llenaron las encuestas en línea de Body Shape Questionnaire (BSQ) y la Escala de Conductas Sexuales de Riesgo. Los resultados revelaron que el 72.7% de los adolescentes mostraron un nivel moderado de preocupación por la imagen corporal y el 47.1% presentó un nivel bajo de conductas sexuales de riesgo, se evidenció además que los factores como grado, sexo y edad no están relacionados con la imagen corporal, pero sí con las conductas sexuales de riesgo; finalmente se llegó a concluir que la imagen corporal guarda relación con las conductas sexuales de riesgo (rho=.715; p=.000) aceptándose la hipótesis de investigación.O presente estudo teve como objetivo analisar a relação entre imagem corporal e comportamentos sexuais de risco em alunos do ensino médio de uma instituição de ensino, com desenho não experimental, de corte transversal correlacional. A amostra foi composta por 403 participantes (51,6% do sexo feminino e 48,4% do sexo masculino) com idade entre 12 e 17 anos que preencheram o Questionário de Forma Corporal (BSQ) online e a Escala de Comportamentos Sexuais de Risco.
