Factores do (in)sucesso escolar na disciplina de LP no 2º ciclo do ES em Cabo Verde : contributo para o seu estudo

O presente trabalho tem como objectivo o estudo do fenómeno do (in) sucesso escolar na disciplina da Língua Portuguesa no 2º ciclo do ensino secundário em Cabo Verde. Este aflige muitos alunos nesta disciplina e não só, pois é um problema generalizado, pelo menos ao nível das escolas secundárias, onde a massificação do ensino não foi acompanhado de medidas de políticas eficazes que pudesse contribuir para o sucesso educativo dos alunos. As dificuldades na aprendizagem da Língua Portuguesa constituem uma das causas do insucesso escolar, que tem uma grande conotação sociolinguística e pedagógica. Em grande parte o insucesso escolar identifica-se com o insucesso de toda a pessoa: alunos, dos pais e ainda dos professores e da instituição escolar e social. Trata-se de um fenómeno muito abrangente, generalizado e preocupante. Assim, para se compreender os factores do insucesso escolar é necessário que nos debrucemos sobre este fenómeno no seu conjunto, conhecendo, de forma profunda as suas causas e consequências e as suas implicações no comportamento do aluno, por forma a, através de um estudo prático realizado no terreno (escola), podermos tirar as nossas próprias conclusões. ABSTRACT: The main objective of the present work is the study of the phenomenon of nonsuccess in the school in the discipline of the Portuguese Language in (the) 2º cycle of the secondary (school) in Cape Vert. It is a problem which afflicts many students in this matter, being a generalized problem at least in the establishments of secondary school where the massification of education was not accompanied by effective political measurements which can contribute to the scholastic achievement of the pupils. The difficulties of the training of the Portuguese language constitute one of the causes of the school failure, having a strong sociolinguistic and teaching connotation, since the pupil spends much hours to the school. In a way or other, school failure is identified with failure of each one: students, parents, teachers and educational and social Institutions. It is however about a very vast phenomenon, generalized and at the same worrying time. Thus, to understand the factors of school failure it is necessary that we take this phenomenon as a whole, while knowing, in a thorough way its causes and its consequences as its implications on the behaviour of the students, through a practical study to realize on the ground, in order to be able to draw our conclusion.
