A partir de um estudo qualitativo foi analisada a existência de transfobia dentro da comunidade LGBTQ+ e o crescimento do, recentemente formado, movimento trans excludente LGB Alliance. Para realizar esta análise foram feitas entrevistas semiestruturadas a pessoas trans da comunidade LGBTQ+ com o intuito de abordar as suas experiências e pontos de vistas sobre este tema. Participaram 14 pessoas trans (transgéneras e não-binárias) todas com mais de 18 anos. Este estudo utilizou a experiência pessoal com transfobia de pessoas trans para entender melhor não só a existência de transfobia dentro da comunidade LGBTQ+ como também o que a motiva. Foi possível concluir que a discriminação presente na comunidade LGBTQ+ não só providencia de falta de informação sobre questões trans como também da pressão da discriminação sofrida pelas outras partes da comunidade. Também foi possível concluir que existe a possibilidade de expansão do grupo LGB Alliance e que esta expansão poderá estar associada ao crescimento da extrema-direita em Portugal.The recent creation and legitimation of the movement LGB Alliance, a movement which intends to exclude the trans community from the LGBTQ+ community, has raised interest in investigating a possible existence of transphobia within the LGBTQ+ community, in Portugal. Using a qualitative study, the growth of this movement and the possible presence of transphobia within the LGBTQ+ community was analyzed. To do this analysis, semi structured interviews were conducted to trans people with the objective to analyze their experiences and viewpoints on this subject. There were 14 participants (transgender and non binary) all over 18 years old. This study used the personal experience with transphobia to better understand not only the existence of transphobia within the LGBTQ+ community but also what motivates it. With the results it was possible to conclude that the transphobia present within the LGBTQ+ community not only originates from a lack of knowledge about the trans experience but also from the pressure originated from the discrimination suffered by the LGBTQ+ community in general.
